Join us for our regularly scheduled worship services every Saturday at 6:00 PM at our community sanctuary located in Texas.

Shamanic Way of Light Aya Church is an established spiritual congregation dedicated to communal worship, sacred ceremony, prayer, meditation, religious education, and fellowship grounded in our sincerely held spiritual beliefs and traditions.

Our weekly worship gatherings include:

communal prayer and meditation
spiritual teachings and scripture discussion
sacred music and devotional practices
ceremonial observances with sacrament

Our congregation welcomes adults seeking spiritual connection, religious study, personal growth, and participation in our ongoing faith community.

Ceremonies at Shamanic Way of Light are held at night, outside, and in nature so that you can be grounded and connected to Mother Earth.

Ceremonies last 4 - 6 hours.

You can feel a very heavy, ancestral energy surrounding yourself.

Many long time participants wear instruments of power (head pieces, necklaces, etc.) and play instruments to symbolize Shamanism.

Instruments and music also help pull out energy and move it, causing many people to dance.

It is introspective work, so you must not disturb others or talk, unless you need help or other offerings applied.

Shamanic Way of Light is an open space and judgment free zone.

The firepit helps transmit energy and connect to the spiritual realm, but it can only be touched by Shamans and guides.

You can always ask for other offerings such as Rapé or Sananga if you are needing to purge or connect further with divine source energy.

Shamans smoke tabaco and blow smoke to help cleanse participants of unwanted energy.

You are allowed to smoke tabaco as well, and pipes will be provided.

The energy of sacrament can be expressed in many forms; dancing, yawning, crying, vomiting, laughing, using the restroom, or changes of body temperature. This is because it works from the inside out.

Ceremonies are about surrendering and trusting sacramental source.

Many of our participants have struggled in life and ceremonial observance has allowed them to find connection.

Rapé

Sananga

Rapé, also known as Hapé, Rapeh, and Hapeh, is a nasal snuff that is applied to the nostrils. It has deep roots in indigenous cultures, and is an integral part of tribal life and healing. Rapé helps balance and clean energy, so that sacrament can have its full effect. It can also be used on its own to help purge negative emotions and stress from the body, or to aid in connecting with ancestors.

Sananga

Sananga is a liquid that is applied to the eyes like eye drops. It is a very strong liquid that causes a burning sensation to take over the eyes. It is used to clear your actual vision, as well as your mind's vision. Tribes have used Sanaga as a natural alternative to treat for Cataracts Disease of the eyes.

Kambô

Tabaco

Kambô is made from the sacretion of Giant Monkey Frogs. Our Shamans burn a small hole or holes into your flesh and then apply the Kambô to the wound(s). Kambô is used to purify the body, mind, and spirit from toxins. Kambô is a natural way to cleanse and purge your body from unwanted parasites and energies.

Tabaco

Tabaco can be made from the leaves of many different plants. Shamans often smoke from blessed tabaco pipes and then blow the smoke directly on to you. The smoke invites ancestors and guides to protect you during your journey. Smoking the tabaco can also cleanse and center your energy.
