COMMUNITY CEREMONIES

A Sacred Practice and Unforgettable Experience with Source

Welcoming all who feel called to walk the sacred path.

Traditionally, Ayahuasca ceremonies are performed by Shamans in different parts of South America. The sacraments were first formulated by indigenous South Americans of the Amazon basin. The purpose of ceremonies has always been to connect to one's spirit, divine source, and higher self.

Our ceremonies remain authentic to our ancestors and include 100% raw sacrament forged and saved from deforestation from the Amazon Rainforest. Our Shamans and facilitators have dedicated their lives to understanding the Aya; learning that it is the true teacher and carrier of light.

Our Community Ceremonies are the bi-weekly worship services of Shamanic Way of Light Aya Church. While space is limited, these gatherings are open to the public and offered as a sacred time for prayer, spiritual reflection, communion with the Divine, and connection with our community.

Each service centers on our holy sacrament, which we revere as a Divine source of spiritual wisdom, healing, and guidance. Through prayer, song, meditation, and sacramental communion, members and visitors come together to deepen their relationship with the Divine, reconnect with Mother Nature, and receive spiritual insight on their personal path.

Our worship services are conducted by ordained spiritual leaders who've dedicated their lives to understanding source and who follow a consistent liturgical structure rooted in reverence, safety, integrity, and communal support.

    Public Participation Welcome

Whether you are new to this path or continuing a lifelong spiritual journey, you are welcome to join us in this sacred space. Ceremonies and retreats are open to all adults who meet our participation criteria.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT AYAHUASCA CEREMONIES

Lead Shamans in Brazil, Emerson and Silvana, explain what you might see and feel during your Ayahuasca ceremonies!

    Takeaways from the Video

    • Ayahuasca Ceremonies at Shamanic Way of Light are held at night, outside, and in nature so that you can be grounded and connected to Mother Earth.

    • Ceremonies last 4 - 6 hours.

    • You can feel a very heavy, ancestral energy surrounding yourself.

    • Many long time users of Ayahuasca wear instruments of power (head pieces, necklaces, etc.) and play instruments to symbolize Shamanism.

    • Instruments and music also help pull out energy and move it, causing many people to dance.

    • It is introspective work, so you must not disturb others or talk, unless you need help or other offerings applied.

    • Shamanic Way of Light is an open space and judgment free zone.

    • The firepit helps transmit energy and connect to the spiritual realm, but it can only be touched by Shamans and guides.

    • You can always ask for other offerings such as Rapé or Sananga if you are needing to purge or connect further with divine source energy.

    • Shamans smoke tabaco and blow smoke to help cleanse participants of unwanted energy.

    • You are allowed to smoke tabaco as well, and pipes will be provided.

    • The energy of Ayahuasca can be expressed in many forms; dancing, yawning, crying, vomiting, laughing, using the restroom, or changes of body temperature. This is because it works from the inside out.

    • The sacrament of Ayahuasca knows what you need, you just have to put your trust in it.

    • Many people struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-love, forgiveness, or a bruised inner child use Ayahuasca to access source for physical and spiritual answers.
